Course Expectations: At the end of the training programme, the participants will be able to:
1. Understand and apply the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 to their own organizations.
2. Plan and implement the OH&SMS through the development of the OH&S Policy and Objectives, determine workplace hazards and risks, and developing operational controls for the hazards and risks identified.
3. Develop, document and manage their Company’s OH&SMS to meet the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
4. Conduct OH&S hazard analyses within their organizations.
5. Understand the concept of risk-based thinking and how to apply it to the OH&SMS.

1. Determining the context of the organization from an OH&S perspective
2. Developing the OH&S Policy & Objectives
3. Incorporating legal and other requirements in the OH&SMS.
4. Hazard analysis, and Hierarchy of operational controls for hazards
5. Documenting the OH&SMS and Management of change
6. Steps in ISO 45001:2018 implementation
