Our COSHH Training course provides your staff with the necessary information to ensure your organisation is compliant with COSHH regulations. COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) is the law that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health. They will learn how to recognise potential hazards and put in place control measures for using them.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Describe the different routes, effects and timescales of harm done to the body by hazardous substances
2. Explain how labelling and other documentation gives information about hazardous substances
3. Discuss the basic principles of handling and storage
4. List measures employers must take to protect workers
5. Identify further information and safety measures that must be provided by employers
This course is accredited by Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
